Gonville & Caius College Fellow Dr Vedran Sulovsky has been awarded the annual prize at the Göppinger Staufertage.

The award, for 2023 and to be received later this year, is one of the highest prizes for Hohenstaufen-era history (German history c. 1125 – 1250), the period Saunders Research Fellow Vedran’s dissertation and first book are on.

The prize is awarded to both distinguished scholars for their many contributions, but also to early career scholars who have shaken up the field.
