Around 2000 charity walkers are expected to visit Gonville & Caius College’s Old Courts site on Sunday 11 September as part of the Bridge the Gap charity walk, which raises funds for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Romsey Mill.

Walkers on the three-mile route, which starts and ends on Parker's Piece, visit six University of Cambridge colleges. Caius is on the three-mile route for the first time since 2006. A full map of the route is below (picture to be included).

For more information and to sign up to take part in Bridge the Gap, which has taken place every year since 2001, featuring over 40,000 people raising over £630,000, visit the event website.

Angeline Liles, of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, said: “After two years of hosting Bridge the Gap ‘remotely’, we’re really excited to see people from across Cambridgeshire and beyond joining together again to enjoy our beautiful city, while raising vital funds so these two local charities can continue providing their services.”

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and Romsey Mill offer essential support and care to people throughout Cambridgeshire.
